Between a huge volume of inbound pitches and requests from portfolio companies for advice and inputs, I am perennially short of time. Then there is the reading and writing. Given all of that I am very careful about what appointments get on my calendar. If I had an extra 30 mins at work, I would give it to founders I have bet on (my portfolio).

I get a lot of requests for meetings / calls – for advice, mentoring, inputs etc. If I said yes to even a third of them, then that is all I would do! Hence I have to turn down almost all of the meetings / calls I get requests for. I am sorry if this sounds rude, but that was not the objective.

To help you get what you want please mail me at instead - do be super direct in your conversation. Ask me 1-2 questions that I can answer in 2-3 minutes and you will almost always get a response from me, typically in 2-3 days, latest in a week.

Please do note that given a high traffic inbox, it is not always possible to reply to every mail or message, especially one that demands more than 2-3 minutes to reply. See https://sriramk.com/coldemail for how to write an effective cold mail.
